People who scan through an article always judge loudly and feel offended extremely

It’s just pathetic, and I guess that’s why people rather use AI to critique their writings.

Do you have an experience of sharing with people your avid views in life but the platform declines to post your article, as it contains “sensitive”, “sexist”, or “racist” words?

Or have you received a “report warning” from people who judged your article by scanning through the content?

I once posted about my experience of hiring an editor to edit a writing sample, and then I was showered with absurd compliments.

She even apologized for me typing the character’s name wrong, saying there must be something hidden in the story indicating the character has a bipolar personality.

Before I heard ‘editing without mercy’, I always expected to receive the most constructive, challenging, or confronting criticism of my work.

I told about this experience and gave an example that if you set weight loss as a New Year resolution, then friends who told you to exercise cared for you the most instead of those who comforted you that were just baby fat.

Soon after I posted this article, I immediately got several comments. And I was flabbergasted.

“Can’t believe someone dares to write about fat shaming!”

“Gibberish!”

“I’ll report this!”

“No one can judge others’ looks!”

“!!!” I only pointed out that if I paid for someone to edit my writing, I expected another person’s opinion who read through every line, questioning my view or correcting my sentence structure.

I had to pay for authentic critiques because I wanted to improve my writing so bad.

Only people who love and support you will pull you up from the sofa to exercise instead of saying meaningless kind words that will never help you to reach a goal.
