A Dark Song is a masterpiece that I feel blessed to watch again. I cannot recall how long ago I first saw this movie, yet it left such an indelible mark on my memory that upon searching for it guessing the keywords—having forgotten its title—I instantly identified the film I was seeking.
The Purpose of Torment
The demons cut off her fingers while restraining her on the chair. Later, a boss-like serial killer drags a metal item walking toward her. After she escapes from these ordeals, she climbs up the stairs, enters a lighting room, and sees the guardian angel, then tells it her favor.
I guess all these inhumane prosecutions the actress encountered are the pain and fear she hopes to cause to those teenagers who killed her son in an occult.
Yet, beneath the flaming grudge, her compassion, sympathy, and empathy remain intact. Covered in dust, they still radiate the enduring power of human kindness.
Thus, her guardian angel appears.

As the actress drives back to her new life, not only does another red car pass by (a sign of returning to a normal and peaceful mind and life), but she also examines her bandaged fingers.
The reaction seems as ordinary as when we burn our fingers while cooking and feel discomfort while typing at work.
However, it’s significant to care about a cut on a finger. It’s a blessing to feel hurt from a scar. A sign that we love ourselves, and when we love ourselves, we can live a bright life without dwelling on overwhelming memories filled with hatred, regret, or other heavy emotions.
She has forgiven others and herself.
She is ready to move on in life.
